Bloodmobile
in Marshall
The Red Gross bloodmobile will be at the Marshall Baptist Church, on Route 17 south of town, on Tuesday, May 6, from 1 to 6 p.m.
This will be the first time since last October that the bloodmobile has been at Marshall, so the 31 people who donated at that time are again eligible, Mrs. Hazel Williams, blood team captain, points out. But she hopes for many more than that number, as the quota is 45 units (pints). And the Fauquier Chapter of the Red Cross needs a substantial number of new donors if it is to meet its quota for the fiscal year that ends next month.
A year ago the chapter was given a quota of 1,300 units to be collected during the year. In early March that seemed to be possible. But then the bloodmobile in Warrenton March 27, with only 70 units, fell short of its target of 90.
