Animal Care Technician. - A. The work includes feeding, watering and grooming of horses. Assist veterinary technicians, students and/or clinicians in the care and treatment of horses. Maintenance of stalls and related facilities. Omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar. Experience in the care and maintenance of horses in a medical environment is desirable. Wage position starting at $5.64/hr. Extension Technician. - A. A position involving routine cleaning of stable area, removing and replacing stall bedding, washing walls and hallways, cleaning and maintaining the examination areas. Omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar. Stable related experience preferred. Wage position starting at $4.51/hr.
