Music Boosters fundraiser
RCHS Music Boosters are again selling Florida fresh citrus fruit for their fundraiser this year. Orders for the fruit may be placed with any choir or band student, with Ms. Fox or Mr. Orth, or at the RCHS office. The delivery date is Dec. 10. Payment is due at the time the order is placed. Prices are: navel oranges, $17 4/5 bushel, $9 2/5 bu.; red grapefruit, $14/$7.50; Tangelos, $15/$8; Homlins, $14/$7.50. For additional information call the high school, 987-8575.
Turkeywalk for Heart Assn.
The Rappahannock County Chapter of the American Heart Association will sponsor a Turkeywalk Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. until noon over six miles in Old Hollow. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Heart Association. Walkers will meet at the Thornton Gap Primitive Baptist Church at the intersections of Rts. 612 and 600. Participants who raise $50 in pledges will receive long-sleeve T-shirts sporting the “Turkeywalk” logo, $100 will net the partidpant a T-shirt and a Thanksgiving turkey. Gallery coffeehouse
A gallery coffeehouse will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, from 8:30 p.m. to midnight at Middle Street Gallery. There will be an open stage; Future coffeehouses will be held on the second Saturday of each month. Admission is $2.
Literacy volunteers to meet
Rappahannock Literacy volunteers are asked to attend a special meeting tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 13, at 9 a.m. in Trinity Parish Hall instead of the library. Margaret Gottlieb will share her experience in teaching literacy and what the RLV is all about.

No-Till Conference Dec. 16
The 14th annual Mid-Atlantic No-Till Conference will be held Dec. 16 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, Timonium. Tickets are $3 and are required for lunch. Deadline for ticket sales is Dec. 4. Call the Extension Office at 675-3619 for additional information.
Disney movie at RCES
The Rappahannock Elementary PTA will host a presentation of the Walt Disney movie That Dam Cat Friday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the school gymnasium. All are invited to attend. 4Get in Touch’ with Artists’ Forum
