Ruth Kennedy
Mrs. Ruth May Kennedy, 88, of Slate Mills, died Nov. 2 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Eliza Jenkins Cubbage ana the widow of William Olney Kennedy. She was a member of Slate Mills Baptist Church.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, included Mrs. Goldie Kennedy of Slate Mills, with whom she had been making her home.
A funeral service was conducted Nov. 5 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. Harold Eaton. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Pallbearers were Earl Hicks, Robert Kennedy, Charles Kennedy, Otha Scroggins, Benjamin Jenkins, O.B. Smith Jr., Thomas Smith and James Cubbage.
Richard Me Bee
Richard D. McBee, 72, of Amissville, died Nov. 5 at Fairfax Hospital.
Mr. McBee was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, where he served as treasurer for several years.
Survivors include his wife Mabel O. McBee, a brother William G. McBee of Warrenton, a niece and a nephew.
Funeral services were conducted Nov. 7 at the Moser Funeral Home
