The Celebration of Lights has raw ceived ever-increasing support fttnn the Front Royal/Warren County community and from the residents of adjoining counties. Friends and relap tives from Oregon, Massachusetts? South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Netti York, Florida and other states have donated lights for the tree. The Cek ebration of Limits has truly become a community activity and is becoon ing more and more the way to honde loved ones and friends.
Since the first Celebration <6t Lights in 1982, the Auxiliary had used the proceeds for nursing scholarships, to help with the renovation of the same-day surgery area, to fet stall electric doors at the circle 4th trance of the hospital and for other
hospital projects. ‘0
Lifeline subscribers are provided with a portable radio transmitter which is connected with their telephone
and alerts emergency personnel
at Warren Memorial Hospital when they need medical help. Lifeline
helps elderly and disabled persons remain independently in theif own homes enjoying a happier, mqre satisfying life.
