Bluemont sets
piano concert
The Bluemont Concert Series will present the piano duo of Lina Yeh and Rolf-Peter Wille on Saturday, Nov. 14, at Warrenton Junior High School, beginning at 8 p.m. Admission is $4 per person, $2 for BCS Friends.
The program will feature both two and four hand selections, including Brahms’ “Sixteen Waltzes, Opus 39,” Ravel’s “La Mere L’Oie,” Dvorak’s “Slavonic Dances 1 and 8,” and Yen Lu’s “Piece for Four Hands.”
Lina Yeh and Rolf-Peter Wille are from Taipei and currently are on a two-month tour of Europe and the U.S. They have appeared as duo pianists and soloists since 1979 in Germany, the Far East, Canada and the U.S. They have performed the major concerto repertoire for two pianos of Bach, Mozart and Poulenc with various orchestras, including the Calgary Philharmonic, the Metro Manila Symphony and the Taipei City Symphony.
