In response to a letter written by the PTA, the School Board will publish its agenda in the newspaper prior to their monthly meeting. The PTA also asked to be able to speak on issues before a decision is made.
RCES vice principal Kathy Calvert explained a National PTA sponsored program called Reflections. It is a creative arts contest which allows children to compete in creative writing, photography, music and visual arts. Contests are held locally, district-wide and statewide. The theme is Wonders of the World. Ms. Calvert said, ‘This provides a good opportunity for our students to display their creativity.”
