DISTRICT COURT CLERK
The District Court Clerk is the chief administrative officer for the court and is responsible for the management and application of court resources. Includes authority over financial performance, staffing, budgets, and efficient caseload processing. Clerk monitors all procedures to ensure compliance with statuatory requirements, the needs of the court, other criminal justice agencies, the public, and sound managment principles. High school diploma or equivalent required. College/ business school helpful. Substantial experience, or combination of education and experience, requited in court, business, or office which provides knowledge, skills, abilities in public relations; automated records systems; accounting systems; preparation of budgets; organizational skills; supervision, including recruitment, training, performance standards and appraisal; and decision making. Knowledge of judicial/ regulatory requirements that affect court operations and case processing desirable.
