Only Jesus can satisfy the longing in your heart, and fill the emptiness that you feel. You look here and there and everywhere to fill the void in your life. But for you the answer is total surrender to Christ. For through this total surrender Jesus is allowed to work in you more, and fill that void and emptiness that is in you. You have tried to fill that void with things like more money, a bigger house, the latest in fashion, a change of cars, different friends, a more active social life, a better career, and the list goes on. These things are not the answer, and you will find out that they don’t and can not fill that void in your life. Because this void my friend is a spiritual one. The Bible says that God made man in his own image and likeness, and the bible says that God breathed the breath of life into man and that man became a living soul. But through sin men died Spiritually and that’s what created that void in your heart. But Jesus came and bore your sins in his own body on the cross. 1 Peter 2:24 says: Jesus bought your salvation with his own blood. When we repent of sin, and by faith ask Jesus to come in our hearts, then Jesus comes and lives in your heart, and as you follow Him and his word, then my friend that void is filled with his wonderful love and peace and joy and power.
