Ronald N. Wiye, who began his National Park Service career in the Washington metropolitan area 26 years ago, is returning there as Deputy Regional Director, following a one-year assignment as Superintendent of Shenandoah National Park. He/ succeeds Robert Stanton, who was appointed Associate Director of the National Park Service last June.
"Ron brings to this post a valuable and varied record of Park Service experience,” said Manus J. Fish, Regional Director of the National Capital Region. MIn his 26-year Park Service career, he has served in a variety of positions that have earned him a reputation as an excellent adminstrator and manager.
