She sold 15 books (with a little help from her parents and grandparents). Amanda is a first grader and the daughter of Bobby and Sarah Brown and this writer’s granddaughter.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pennington spent from Tuesday until Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Sam Morgan in Corapeake, N.C.
Mr. and Mrs. Steve Lockhart of Front Royal visited Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell Tuesday, and Mr. and Mrs. James Jenkins of Berryville were guests Thursday. The Campbells’ son Danny of Front Royal visited them Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz returned home last Tuesday after
spending two weeks in Sioux City, Ohio, visiting with their daughter and family, Mrs. Donna Jakubowicz, Kristi, Matt and Andrea. The Schultzes were weekend guests of their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Steven Sengstack, Eric and Jason in Centreville. On Sunday they attended services at the Centreville
Methodist Church and heard their grandson Eric sing in the children’s choir.
