PTEC’s spring fashion show
“Hitting the High Note of Fashion" is the theme of this year’s fashion show sponsored by the tailoring department of Piedmont Technical Educational Center, which will be presented May 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the school on Route 15 south of Culpeper. Admission is free and the public is invited.
Concert benefits Rapidan Library
Jazz, ragtime and music by contemporary composers, with a sani pling of baroque, will be presented June 5 at 3 p.m. at the Guild Hall of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Rapidan. Fred Karas, guitarist, and David Kane on electric keyboard will perform music of Villa Lobos, Ponce and other Latin composers as well as their own special jazz and ragtime. The concert is sponsored by the Rapidan Foundation for the benefit of the Rapidan Schoolhouse Library.
