To the editor:
The Commonwealth Transportation Board of Virginia has made the decision to hold a public hearing in Rappahannock County on the issue of four-laning Rt. 211 between Washington and Sperryville. I applaud this decision by the Transportation Board and want to thank its members for their time and willingness to listen to both sides of this issue.
An informational meeting will be held Wednesday, July 20, at 7 p.m. following by a public hearing on Thursday, July 21, at 7 p.m. Both meetings will be held at the elementary school auditorium.
