“This action marks a continuation of our efforts to designate pristine and undisturbed national forest lands for wilderness preservation in Virginia,” noted Sen. Warner. “The bill recommends four new areas previously under study for the full protections that a wilderness designation provides and adds two areas within the Jefferson National Forest to existing wilderness areas.”
