Monday, May 30, will be observed as a holiday in honor of Memorial Day. County, state, federal and town offices, banks and savings institutions will be closed.
The county’s public schools will be open, but classes will be dismissed early at 2 p.m.
The Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock also will be closed. In case of an emergency call 675-3329.
The Rappahannock County Library will be closed as well.
The Rappahannock News will be closed on Monday. Early advertising deadlines for our June 2 issue are noon Tuesday, May 31, for local display and classified advertising for Rappahannock News ads; Thursday, May 26, 4 p.m. for real estate combo ads and Friday, May 27, 3 p.m. for combo classified and display ads.
