JMU offers

summer theatre

workshop

James Madison University will hold a summer theater workshop July 11-22 for high school students.

The workshop, taught by instructor Anne Marley Lyndrup, will cover the areas of movement, stage combat, scene work and improvisation, makeup and script work.

The workshop will meet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. The cost is $100 per student, and a limited number of $50 scholarships is available.

College credit is available to high school seniors, but non-credit participation is open to all high school students.
