A memorial fund established in the name of Ronnie Pullen, a Sperryville native killed in a construction accident last year, will be used to construct sheltered spectator seating at the Horseshoe Hills softball field on Rt. 211 west of Sperry ville.
According to James Russell, owner of the Horseshoe Hills Family Store, next to the ball diamond, and one of the softball team’s boosters, Mr. Pullen was one of the local softball league’s early organizers and one of its biggest backers.
