Business Council to meet

The Sperryville Business Council will meet on Monday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sperryville Antique Market. All business owners are urged to attend.

Local painters show at Gallery

The public is invited to an opening of watercolors by Lynette Nicholas and Scott Robinson on Sunday, June 5 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Middle Street Gallery in Washington. Lorraine Duisit and Tom Espinola will also be at the opening from 6 to 8 for record signing and a tape presentation of their new release, “Feather River.” The show of Nicholas’ “light transition" landscapes and Robinson’s surreal and fauvist images will be on view through June 26. Gallery hours are Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and by appointment. Call 6753440 for information.
