Improvements in basic skills,
expanded curriculum and fenlarged school facilities were high priority items discussed by the Rappahannock Citizens for Better Education at Monday’s bimonthly open meeting. “We can’t keep going if we don’t have something to work for,” maintained chairman Ron Wiley, on suggesting that the group form a committee to determine long and short-range goals for Rappahannock’s public schools that the Citizens for Better Education could work to achieve.
The RLEP will hold its quarterly meeting at the Court House in Washington on Friday, June 2 at 7:30 p.m. It is hoped that the members and the public at large will attend this forum since the format will be similar to that of a “town meeting.”
