Residents rrom across the t ommonwealth are invited to taste the best foods Virginia has to offer, from the mountains to the shore, at the seventh annual Virginia Food Festival to be held Wednesday, Aug. 3 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the State Fairgrounds in Richmond.
The event is sponsored by the Virginia Agribusiness Council with the help of a number of the state’s major agricultural commodity groups and associations. Last year more than 5,000 people attended the event, which promotes Virginia food products and the people who produce them. Only 5,000 tickets will be sold for this year’s event.
This year’s menu will include tasty pork, seafood, beef, chicken, lamb, veal, apple, peanuts, fresh produce and egg dishes, eorn-on-thecob and dairy products including ice cream.
