Gavor Foster

Gavor Kenneth Foster, 52, of Huntly, died May 28 in the Warren Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Foster was born Jan. 10, 1936, in Flint Hill, the son of Herbert Ashton and Minnie Catherine Wince Foster of Flint Hill. He was a self-employed orchardist and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Surviving with his parents are his wife Shirley A. Foster; one son Christopher Kenneth Foster at home; two brothers Charles H. Foster and Claude Foster of Flint Hill; and one sister Delores Corbin of Flint Hill.

The funeral was held May 31 at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. Carl Menefee officiating. Burial was in Flint Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Homer East, Dale Welch, Mike Corbin, Nelson Atkins, Major Cowgill and Dr. Werner Krebser.

Honorary pallbearers were Lynn Atkins, Roger Dodson, Edward Jenkins, J.T. Pullen, Harry Tummyer Jr. and Darryl Corbin.
