28 at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. Merlin Shorb and the Rev. Larry Lee officiating. Burial was in Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas. Pallbearers were Mark Pullen, Tony Pullen, Michael Pullen, Andy Robinson, Claude Jones and Robert Denny.

Honorary pallbearers were Carlton Priest, John E. Pharoah, Russell Jones, Stacey Pullen and Terri Rickard.

William Rowzie

William E. Rowzie, 71, of Amissville, died May 26 in Fauquier Hospital.

Mr. Rowzie was born Aug. 31, 1916, the son of the late Marvin and Ella Rowzie. He was a retired painter.

Surviving are his wife Mary Rowzie; one stepson Robert Grimsley of South Carolina; two brothers Bobby Rowzie of Vienna and Buddy Rowzie of Amissville; and one sister Mae Chapman of Annandale.

The funeral was held May 29 at the Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton with the Rev. David Stone officiating. Burial was in the Amissville Methodist Church Cemetery.
