The Culpeper Extension Homemakers Club is holding its annual yard sale on Saturday, June 4 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Homemakers’ Building, Agricultural Enterprises, on Rt. 29, one mile .south of the town of Culpeper, Va. There will be bargains in used household items and fresh home baked-goods for sale.
Sperryville carnival
The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual carnival from June 14-18 at the fire hall on Rt. 211 west. Tuesday and Wednesday are “Family Nights," with all the rides all night for one $5 ticket. On Friday, the Firemen’s Parade will begin at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday night, the Carnival Queen will be crowned, drawings will be held and the Grand Prize winner announced.
