Sarah Jordan
Sarah Elizabeth Jordan, 64, of Huntly, died May 24 in the Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Jordan was bom Sept. 26, 1923 in Huntly, the daughter of the late Samuel Clark and Mary Elizabeth Flynn Pendleton. She was a member of the Flint Hill Macedonia Baptist Church and married to the late Henry Elzora Jordan.
Surviving are three brothers John R. Pendleton of Flint Hill, Robert M. Pendleton of Huntly and Clarence E. Pendleton of Front Royal; one sister Georgia N. Champ of Flint Hill; one half-brother Sonny Pendleton of New Jersey; and one half-sister Shirley Pendleton of Harrisburg, Pa.
The funeral was held May 28 at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. James A. Price officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Flint Hill.
Pallbearers were Darnell Pendleton, Larry Turner, Arnold Turner, Jeffrey Turner, Samuel Jett and Thomas Jett.
Honorary pallbearers were Eugene Turner, George Turner, Eugene Robinson, William N. Robinson, Melvin Jordan and Charles Jordan.
