A panel composed of representatives from a local bank, the Farmers Home Administration, New River Valley Development Corp., Small Business Administration, Virginia Department of Economic Development, and Rural Virginia Development Foundation will discuss how to get financial support for various undertakings. *
The afternoon portion of the program will be devoted to discussions of non-financial sources of assistance and rural enterprise teams by Wilburn W. Buran Jr., of the SBA, Mary Elsesser of the Virginia Department of Economic Development, and H. Bland Franklin.
The final hour will be spent by the participants working on various development ideas for their communities.
The $15 registration fee includes all program materials, luncheon and refreshment breaks.
