The proposed budget for
Rappahannock County for 1968-69 has been submitted to the Board of Supervisors by the Budget Committee and published in this paper. The budget was examined and minor revisions made at the May meeting df the Board and official action will be taken on its adoption at the regular meeting on the 7th of June. At this meeting a public hearing is in order before it can be adopted. The budget total is $762,775.00, an increase of $88,032.00. Commencement Exercises for the seventh grade class of Washington Elementary School will be held Wednesday, Jime 5, 1968 in the school auditorium. The program begins at 8 p.m. and the theme is “Keys to the Future.”
