RICHMOND — Based on the spring farm forecast presented to the Virginia Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services at its meeting on May 26, Virginia farmers will realize $511 million in net farm income for 1988.
“Overall, we should have a positive year for Virginia agriculture, given a normal growing season,” said VDACS Commissioner S. Mason Carbaugh.
