Employee expenses constitute another 28 percent of the town budget. That figure, a total of $22,310, includes Mr. Pullen’s salary, additional funds for temporary labor, overtime and social security allocations, retirement fund, and $1,000 for education and training. Mr. Fisher said that will likely be spent to train Mr. Pullen in the operation of the equipment which will be installed when the water system is refitted.
Another 15 percent of the budget, totalling $11,850, is earmarked for town operations. This includes expenses for water system chemicals and lab supplies, gas, oil and maintenance, tools, including possibly the purchase of a bushhog to clear brush around the water lines, Mr. h isher said.
Another $5,500 is allocated to pay the town's power bill to Potomac Edison.
