Girls wanted
to compete for
Miss Fire Chief
Junior Fire Chief contestants are needed. The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department is seeking girls between the ages of 6 and 11 to compete for the title of Junior Miss Fire Chief.
Girls between the ages of 12-19 "hre also sought to compete for Miss Honorary Fire Chief.
Residents of Rappahannock, Warren and surrounding counties are eligible. Girls wishing to enter either of these contests are asked to meet at the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department June 23 at 7 p.m., when books will be distributed.
