Lyle Jenkins
Lyle Jenkins, 82, of Culpeper, died June 7 at Heritage Hall Health Care Center in Charlottesville. He was a retired gardener.
Mr. Jenkins was a native of Rappahannock County, son of Henry Pierce and Blanche Coates Jenkins. ' He was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church and Phoenix Odd Fellows Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Amy Rider Jenkins, Culpeper, three sisters, Mrs. Betty Lamphier, Culpeper, Mrs. Lucille Mack, Hyattsville, Md., and Mrs. Gussie Hasse, Sperryville, and two brothers, John W. Jenkins, Etlan, and Woodrow W. Jenkins, Potomac, Md.
A graveside service was conducted June 10 at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, by the Rev. James Truslow.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Sperryville, or Falmouth United Methodist Church, Falmouth.
William Dodson
William Henry Dodson, 79, of Brightwood, died June 9 at the University of Virginia Hospital. He was a retired logger and carpenter.
Mr. Dodson was a native of Rappahannock County, son of Jacob and Hattie Dodson.
Survivors include his wife Ruth Sisk Dodson and a daughter Ruth D. Weakley, both of Brightwood, five sons, James W. Dodson, Perry J. Dodson, Delmar E. Dodson, all of Brightwood, Bernard R. Dodson, Leon and Clifford H. Dodson, Churchville, a brother Roy E. Dodson, Brightwood, a sister Nellie Dodson, Culpeper, 16 grandchildren
