‘NUGGETS OF TRUTH”
Pastor Bill Taylor
Are you strong in faith or weak, the bible says in Romans 4:20, that Abraham was strong in faith, we read that Abraham had a difficult situation facing him. God said that he was going to make him the Father of many nations, yet it seemed impossible to Abraham and his wife Sarah, because Abraham was 100 years old, and Sarah was 90, and her womb was dead, you may not be facing that kind of situation but still you may be facing financial problems, or health problems, or marriage problems, etc. The answer is the same for your situation as it was for Abraham and Sarah, we must be strong in faith.
The bible says in Romans 10:17, So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Your faith will grow strong by hearing the word of God. Abraham believed God’s word, and received the promise that he would bear a son in his old age, and that through his son Isaac he would be the father of many nations. You too can receive what the bible promises you, for your situation, the bible has a promise to cover your situation, and as you declare by faith that you have what the verse promises you, you will have the victory in that area of your life.
You may think that your situation is impossible yet Jesus said in Mark 9:23, If thou canst believe all things are possible to him that believeth. I encourage you to start building your faith to a strong level by feeding on God’s word. We here at Family Worship Center, believe in teaching on faith, how to build strong faith and how to use your faith in the problems and situations that we face in life. I’m in the process of teaching on faith over the next several weeks, so come to our services, and hear these messages on faith, so that your faith will grow strong. Our service times are Sunday morning 10:30 and Wednesday nite at 7:00, located on Mount Salem Ave. in the old school building.
Love in Christ,
