Ginny and Dick Pierson are excited about hosting country singerentertainer Tex Baines, a unique 75year-old gentleman from Australia. He will be staying with the Piersons for two weeks while he performs in the area. He is scheduled to perform at the Bluemont Nursing Home at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, sponsored by the Fauquier County Parks and Recreation. He’s also a favorite with children.
Vacation Bible School at Amissville, located on Rt. 642, will be held June 13-17 from 9 to 12, for nursery through age 11. Everyone in that age group is welcome. For information call Mr. Burner, 937-5270.
