‘Bedroom Farce’
The RAAC and Rappahannock Players production of “Bedroom. Farce” will be staged Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Gay Street Theatre in Washington. Tickets are available in advance or at the box office before each evening’s performance. For the convenience of theatre-goers, the Village Cafe will serve dinner Saturday and Sunday.

Amissville carnival June 29-July 2
The Amissville Volunteer Firemen’s carnival will be held June 29July 2. Wednesday night will be family night and you can ride until closing for $5. The parade will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday. Crowning of the queen will be at 11 p.m. Friday and drawing for the $1,000 grand prize along with other prizes will be Saturday. Concessions, shows, rides and games will be featured throughout the four-night event. “Bring the whole family and epjoy the carnival,” said a spokesperson. Anyone willing to help, donate items or participate in the parade is asked to call 937-4357.
Cloverbud Camp planned
4-H Camp Cloverbud, to be held Aug. 5-6 at the 4-H Center near Front Royal, is designed to introduce 6, 7 and 8-year-olds who have not been to camp before to the overnight camping experience. The cost is $25. Registration information can bb obtained by contacting the Rappahannock Extension Office at 675-3619.
Monday Alternative ends
with French flourish
In the sixth and final program of the Monday Night Alternative series for 1988, Roger G. Kennedy, director of the National Museum of American History, will speak on some French influences upon the shape of things in Virginia.
The combination talk and slide show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 20, in Trinity Church Parish Hall.
As with all Monday Night Alternatives, the lecture is free and open to the public. A reception with refreshments will follow at the library.
