The valedictory address will be given by the senior with the highest grade point average, Takashi Takenoshita, son of Mr. and Mrs. Takaharu Takenoshita of Kagoshima, Japan. Takenoshita has spent the last two years at Wakefield where he has won awards in mathematics, Latin and history. In 1987, he was among a handful of students nationwide to achieve a perfect score of 800 on the Math SAT. Takenoshita will enter Brown University in Providence, R. I., in the fall of next year.
The graduation ceremonies will be followed by a reception for Preparatory School students, their families and friends sponsored by the Wakefield Parents’ Association, headed by Mrs. Dixon Whitworth Jr.
