Amissville Ruritans president "Bill Segrest expressed gratitude and deep appreciation for the several thousands of dollars’ worth of work donated by Rappawan Excavating. Rappawan re-landscaped and modernized the ball field at the Ruritans’ Stuart Field. There are now one adult-size ball diamond, as well as a Little League and Tee Ball field for use by the community. (Rappawan’s work at the nearby landfill had been temporarily halted, allowing them to flonate equipment and labor at Stuart’s Field.)
The Ruritans plan to put a jogling trail around the eight-and-onehalf-acre field for local joggers.
