A special program for children on Saturday, July 23 at 2 p.m. will feature the Fairfax Symphony Brass Quintet and Percussion Duo in a concert titled “Simply Symphonic.” Admission for children (through high school) is free and adult tickets are $3.
The National Chamber Orchestra of Washington, D.C. will present a concert on Aug. 14 at 2 p.m. This exciting program will include works by Mozart, Rossini and Stravinsky. Stephen Kleiman directs this celebrated chamber orchestra.
Labor Day Weekend will feature a Saturday, Sept. 3 summer band concert by the City of Fairfax Band and a Sunday, Sept. 4 big band concert by Bill Dayton and His 18-Piece Orchestra. The festive atmosphere will include balloons for children, hot dogs and ice cream socials.
