To the editor:
I would like to thank the whole county of Rappahannock for the two wonderful years of work that I have experienced as your Public Health Nurse. Right from the very beginning, I was welcomed an 1 accepted by all in my new role. 1 hope that I have been able to add just as much back into the community.
I believe that this county’s other services have cooperated and worked more closely with the Health Department than other counties where I have worked. In particular, I have enjoyed the continued help from the Social Services Department, the County School Board, Elementary and High Schools. I have also appreciated the assistance given by private groups and organizations, especially Drs. Martin and Krebser and Dr. Mayberry. Many stores have helped in the advertisement of different clinics. A great deal of gratitude is given to the Rappahannock News in their support of stories, advertisements and coverage of different Health Department events.
