Mr. Clyde Atkins returned home on Thursday from Culpeper Memorial Hospital and is recuperating at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Brown.
The descendents of the late Aubrey R. and Ellen B. Jenkins held their seventh annual family reunion on Sunday, June 25 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington.
It was well attended and all enjoyed the day. The late Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins were residents of Old Hollow. Plans for next year were discussed, and the date was set for June 17 at the Park.
Phillip and Felicia Thornton of Seoul, Korea spent last week with their grandmother Mrs. Frances Thornton.
Barbara C. Burke attended the wedding of Elizabeth Rudd to Todd Butler on Saturday at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Fairfax.
Last Wednesday guests of Mrs. Catherine Brown were her granddaughter Beverly Reed and children Arty and Kayla of Winchester. Mrs. Barbara Payne of Warrenton was a Sunday guest of her mother Mrs. Brown.
David Jenkins and Alechia Ritter of Carlisle, Pa. spent the weekend here and attended the Jenkins family reunion on Sunday at the Rappahannock Park near Washington.
Sunday guests of Mrs. Early J. Sisk were Mrs. Lucy Jenkins of Boston, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sisk of Orange, Lester Deal and Beatrice Sheppard.
Mrs. W. W. Cloe Jr. of Stafford was expected to arrive on Tuesday to spend a few days with her mother Mrs. Ruth Pillar.
