Steven D. Parker, son of the Rev. Steven and Sandra Parker of Amissville, has been awarded a T. Brady Saunders Honor Scholarship from Lynchburg College.
Recognizing students in the toj^ 10 percent of their class, the award provides $2,000 yearly toward tuition at the college. Parker is a graduate of Rappahanock County High School.
Lynchburg College is a private, four-year, coeducational school enrolling 2,450 students in professional and liberal arts studies on the undergraduate and graduate levels.
