The short-term problem for Warden Pullen and Mrs. Drake, however, is finding homes for the German Shephards found last week. The county has agreed to extend the usual five-day time limit allotted to stray dogs in hopes that homes can be found. “They're good dogs,” Mr. Pullen said. “With a good home, they could make some people some good pets.”
