A grant of $15,000 has been

awarded by the state to help finance and develop facilities for the newly established Rappahannock Recreation Center. The grant is from the Urban Assistance Incentive Fund, and the award was made upon the recommendation of an intergovernmental review committee of the Division of State Planning and Community Affairs, based on an application submitted this spring by county authorities. Granville Eastham, president of the Rappahannock Recreation Association, was advised of the grant in a letter signed by Governor Mills Godwon.

The Youth Choir of the Sperryville United Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. Malcolm Maples, will present Messages of Inspiration on radio W.F.T.R. Front Royal, July 1 through July 6.
