1 would like to share one part of’ Gladkov's thought-provoking talk.He was asked what was the most ini ! portant thing he would take back! from his visit here. He said it was; seeing people in their ow n homes.; "Now I am affected by the American ; dream of owning your land andhouse. This is a dream that will beunfullillable for me in my country and that is very hard."
Gladkov was able to show the photos ot ('hasnitsy in Moscow through manipulating the bu reaucracy. He pointed out to the officials that 27 men died in WAV II from the village so they let the exhibit be shown as memorial.
Roth Gladkov’s exhibition and his talk reaffirmed the importance Of not taking for granted the luxurious wealth and freedom we have here. It also made me realize that not all American’s have access to “Thrf* Dream." It furthered my resolve U. « do what I can to see that there is "Liberty and Justice for all.” These are the qualities that make the United States a beacon to the world.
