The community band is looking for additional members. Local residents who play, or have played, a musical instrument are encouraged to join the band. The Community Band is sponsored by the Giles B. Cook, .53, American Legion and rehearsal facilities are provided by Randolph-Macon Academy.
Those interested should contact Director John Russell, (703) 6369432, or Assistant Director Ed Richards, (703) 636-6081, or attend one of the band’s weekly rehearsals. The band rehearses at 7:30 p.m., every Tuesday evening, in the band room at Randolph-Macon Academy.
