Summer calendars have a way of filling up fast, so outdoor enthusiasts had better take a minute now to mark off July 20-23.
That's when the Virginia Game Warden Association will hold its first Sportsmen’s Equipment Exposition next door to the Washington/Dulles Ramada Renaissance Hotel. The exposition is a highlight of the North American Wildlife Enforcement Officers Association’s convention, which will be going on concurrently.
After a special sneak preview for Virginia Governor Gerald Baliles, other dignitaries, and the hundreds of conservation law enforcement representatives from across the U.S. and Canada who will be attending this annual working convention, the exposition will open to the public at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 20.
The latest in hunting, fishing, and boating equipment as well as gear for other outdoor sports and recreational activities will be on display. Wildlife arts and carvings will also be exhibited.
