Shenandoah National Park proposes to allow C&P Telephone Company to improve in-Park telephone service by constructing a radio building at Pinnacles and an antenna tower at Headquarters, park Superintendent J. W. Wade announced last week.
The Park has prepared a Draft Environmental Assessment which discusses the alternatives and their environmental impact for the improvements. Public comments are welcome until July 5 when public comment period ends.
