closings
The following businesses and county offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day:
The Rappahannock National Bank and the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Flint Hill.
The county government offices and the Rappahannock Social Services Department will also be closed.
The Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock will be closed. In case of an emergency, clinic staff may be reached by calling 675-3329.
The Rappahannock Health Department and area post offices will also be closed.
The Rappahannock News will be closed on Tuesday. Early advertising deadlines for our July 6 issue are Thursday, June 29, 4 p.m. for real estate combo ads, Friday, June 30, 3 p.m. for combo classified and display ads and Monday, July 3 for local display and classified advertising for Rappahannock News ads.
