Anna Fincham, Elva Compton, Thelma Button and Lottie Dearing visited Elizabeth Rosenberger at Countryside Nursing Home in Bealeton on Sunday.
The vacation Bible schools enjoyed an excellent turnout last week. On Friday the children enjoyed a picnic at Amissville Baptist and Amissville United Methodist Church.
Children released balloons with their addresses prior to the picnic. The volunteers were greatly appreciated.
The community welcomes Pamela Sue and Paul Conway Buckley who have recently moved here from Culpeper.
Paul is a backhoe operator for Miller and Commer Construction. Pam’s grandparents lived in Amissville. Her grandmother, Helen Jeffries, died June 15. Our sympathy is extended to Pam and her family.
