'mift Farm Show open house

The 4-H clubs in Culpeper, Madison and Rappahannock counties will join together for a 4-H open house at Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises, the site of the three-county farm show each summer, on Saturday, Feb. 24. It will begin at 10 a.m., and feature displays of I ivestock and other activities for 4-H children, families and the public. The event is being sponsored by Bleak Hill Farm, County Farm Services, the Culpeper/Rappahannock Farmers' Co-op, Rappahannock Co. Farm Bureau, Sovran Bank's agri-business department, Warrenton Farm Credit and Zeuswyn Farm. For more information, call the county Extension office (675-3619).

Student music contest

The Rappahannock Lions Club 7 announces its annual Bland Music Contest, scheduled for Sunday, March 4 at the Gay St. Theater. The contest is designed to - recognize and encourage musically talented students, and offers scholarships to the top musicians as judged at the contest. Students interested in competing in the contest should speak with their music teachers or any Lions Club member. The publ ic is invited to attend the concert. **
