hospital had difficulty getting sufficient supplies of Type 0 negative blood in January; Red Cross sources report that type of blood is still short throughout the region. One reason is that 0 negative is rare, found in only about six percent of the population. The hospital figures point up the importance of the Fauquier Chapter’s effort to find new blood donors.
