A pre-bid conference will be held for those Interested on Friday, March 2, 1990, at the Rappahannock County jail facility in Washington. Sets of plans are available for a non-refundable fee of $75.00 by contacting the Architect at the below address. The bidding procedures for competitive sealed bidding provided by the Virginia Public Procurement Act, Section 11-37 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 (as amended), shall apply. Reference should be made to§ 11-57 and 11-58 of the Code of Virginia with regard to Bid Bond and Performance Bond requirements. Sealed bids, to include references, should be submitted to the office of the Architect (LAWRENCE & LAWRENCE, PC., 98 Alexandria Pike, Suite 500, Warrenton, VA 22186) so as to be received no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 1990. At this time, bids will be opened and publicly read. To be acceptable, a bid must state a fixed price, must contain the name, address and telephone number of the bidder, and must be signed by the bidder. Rappahannock County reserves the right to reject any, or all, bids.
